ABOUT US

CARING FOR ANIMALS BIG AND SMALL

For nearly 65 years our clinic has provided premier veterinary service to western Nebraska and eastern Colorado. The practice caters to an approximately 50% large animal and 50% companion animal caseload with services ranging from routine preventative care to referral level procedures. Our team is composed of four full time veterinarians, six licensed technicians, and several support staff across our primary and satellite clinics.

OUR TEAM

Ron Moorhead, DVM
Owner

Dr. Moorhead acts as our primary equine clinician employing a variety of surgical and medical techniques for your horses. Small animal orthopedic surgery and alternative therapies such as chiropractic and acupuncture are just a few of his additional interest areas. Outside of the clinic Ron enjoys spending time with grandkids and working in gundog trials with his champion labs.

Tara Fanning, DVM
Owner

Dr. Fanning is a truly mixed animal practitioner with years of multi-species experience under her belt. She serves as head veterinarian for our equine breeding program with emphasis on mare health and advanced reproductive methods. Companion animal surgery and equine preventative care are Tara's additional focus fields. Rodeo and sporting events are the preferred pastimes of the Fanning family.
